I arrived at the lake on Friday night at around 5pm, set up and got the rods in position for the night. I had never fished the lake before and didn't know what to expect. During the night i had seen a few carp crashing out and that made me feel confident as they were crashing over my baited spot. At 7:30 am on Saturday morning i got a screeming take on my right hand rod, the carp took me all over the lake and i could just tell that it was a decent sized fish !

I landed the carp after a 15 minute fight. It was a real nice looking mirror and quiet clearly loved my bait choice which was an SBS Fruit and Nut boilie. I have fished the lake just once and can honestly say that it wont be the last time. Hope to be back on the bank again very soon.
